Hello all! I'm enjoying the
ride with my latest book, Legacy of Lies. I'm just trying to hold
on and not miss anything along the way!
First off, the book was
released in November, and that month it earned the #5 bestseller slot for
its publisher, Whiskey Creek Press! Thanks for all of you who bought a copy
-- it's showing! In a few days I'll find out how it did in December. I'm
hoping it went up a slot or two!
Next, I want to invite you to
join me for something really really fun. I'm the featured guest tomorrow
night at 10 PM Central time (11 PM Eastern) on a radio show called Jewel's
Way Romance Author Radio Show. Now, this is INTERNET radio -- you won't
find this show on your radio dial, but you'll be able to hear the whole
thing right through your computer speakers.
It's very easy and lots of
fun -- go to
www.jewelsway.com
and page down below all the beautiful info she's got about me and my
books, and read about how to connect to the show. There's also
instructions for phoning or emailing in with questions, which I'll answer
during the show. I'm also giving away two free copies of Legacy of
Lies, in e-book format. I'm looking forward to a great time!! Hope
you can join me.
And last, I wanted to share
with you that two of my unpublished manuscripts, Preacher Man (in
the inspirational romance category) and The Chronicles of Casey V
(in the Young Adult category), have ranked as finalists in a national
writing contest called Get Your Stilletto in the Door contest! Each
manuscript is now being read by its final round judges -- an editor at a
prestigious New York City publishing house, AND a literary agent who
represents writers of that genre. I should know the results of the final
round by early February, so keep your fingers crossed for me, and check
back to my website then.
Don't forget, for those of
you who have your own copy of Legacy of Lies, I'm offering a
contest just for you -- check it out right here on my website ( http://www.authorlaurielarsen.com/LOLlaunchcontest.htm
) for your chance to win a $30 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.
Happy New Year and keep
reading!
